wino forever

Some secrets are hard to keep and this is one of them.

Here is my "secret" bar that I can't shut up about.

I love walking down the street of Atami especially in the evening when the city is less crowded and you can fully enjoy its nostalgic atmosphere. Along the side of the old fashioned market arcade, is a charming standing-style wine bar. The place is filled with numerous kinds of wines all selected by the owner himself who also serves wonderful dishes. There are bookshelves where you can pick a book and read while having a nice glass of wine.

I go there every once in a while to get inspirations for my paintings and writings. (Yes, I do write and as you can see I'm still a beginner.) I love the classic vibe they have and it's really easy for me to lose track of time when I'm there. I don't know how many ideas I came up with at this place. The owner is quite a strict man who never hesitates to show customers the door whenever he finds them being loud, so don't go there if you're expecting somewhere to get wasted or throw a party with your friends. But if you're looking for a place to enjoy a quiet evening or just spend time by yourself, this is the place for you.

I truly recommend going there if you have any chance and go alone. It'll be adventurous and so worth it! Sorry for not mentioning the name of the bar, though. But it wouldn't be a secret if I told everything, right? ;)
